U-Save International is expanding its presence in the Dominican Republic with the opening of a new location in Punta Cana.
The launch builds on U-Save’s existing operation in Santo Domingo and extends the brand into one of the Dominican Republic’s largest tourism markets.
The Punta Cana franchise is being led by partners Pablo Mendoza and Kildare Guerrero, along with sub-franchisee Ariel Santana. The location is now accepting reservations for October 2026.
“Punta Cana was a natural and incredibly exciting next step for us,” said Richard Lowden, president of U-Save International. “The Dominican Republic is a hugely important tourism market within the Americas, and Punta Cana in particular presents a tremendous opportunity for the U-Save brand.”
Lowden said U-Save’s expansion strategy relies on local franchise operators supported by the company’s technology, distribution, and international network.
The Punta Cana opening is also part of U-Save’s broader expansion strategy in the Americas. Founded in the United States in 1979, U-Save has expanded internationally since Green Motion acquired it in 2022.
The company continues to develop national franchise networks that allow master franchise partners to expand into additional cities, airports, and tourism destinations through locally owned sub-franchises.
